Haiku

Clouds

Heavy , black rain clouds ,

All throughout the dark grey sky,

Raining all around .

Swing Bridge

We had to make a bridge for our topic work and got assigned a type of bridge. Our bridge was a swing bridge,it was meant to be able to rock up and down but still be able to hold a bit of weight.

Our bridge was flexible and easy to move , also easy to construct and sway a bit with the wind

The worst thing was it would hold a weight but it would collapse inward on it self.

Next time we do this we need more time and parts .

This type of bridge is only for people and small loads over a little area.

Our bridge

It is one of the most common bridges these days and it was the best and strongest bridge we could think of at the time.

How to have a Great Kapa Haka Performance

You will Need - 1 group of boys

                         -1 group of girls

                         -2 teachers

                         -1 musician

Equipment - a large practice area

This method is a sure fire way to have a great kapa haka performance.

  1. Firstly construct a routine that involves both boys and girls.
     2. Secondly split the group in to girls and boy, then get both groups to practice their parts in the
         routine.

     3. After both groups have done their part , get both groups to work together  on there
          timing and synchronisation .

4.After perform in front of crowd ,then ask for feedback and work on what they said.

Mihi & Speech

The speech I spoke to the class was the SpringBoks Tour.

The class said I spoke with good volume and spoke clearly.

The class said I had to look at the audience more often and slow down a bit.

next time I will use all feedback that I got and listen to all the new feedback.

Statistical Investigation

Our group statistical investigation was can boys shoot more hoops in two minutes than girls.

The type of graph I created was a pictograph. A pictograph is a that has pictures to represent numbers our other common information.

The results show that it had boys shooting the best but the overall average being the same.
